Lead Minister - Jason Woolard came to SonRise in 2011. As the preacher and day to day administrator strives to lead SonRise toward her purpose and mission. He is also involved with the music ministry, teaching, and other responsibilities. He has been married to Teri Piner Woolard since 2004, has a 5 year old and baby daughter!

Senior Minister - Homer Styons planted many congregations across eastern NC including SonRise. He is married to Peggy Styons and they have been a ministry team for almost 60 years. Homer loves his 4 kids, 9 grandkids, and 13 great grandkids.
